Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• IV start skills required
• Telemetry and management of cardiac drip experience preferred
• Float to similar units within scope as needed
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• General Med/Surg patients including COVID cases
• Must be prepared for emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June-November)

This acute care hospital features 119 staffed beds with a dedicated 54-bed Med Surg unit that maintains a daily census of approximately 24 patients.
