Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Choose between 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
• Float required to Medical/Surgical, Intermediate Care, and Emergency Department Boarder units as needed
• Care for ED boarder patients and inpatient unit patients
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• Emergency room holding experience required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI and NIHSS
• Must have compact license or Maryland license
• Two supervisor references required
• 32 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Chart using Cerner system
• Care for patients with various diagnoses including post-MI, CVA, and renal failure
• Manage cardiac telemetry, chest tubes, PICC lines, and wound care
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed
