Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holidays as needed
• Weekend requirement: 4-5 weekend shifts in a 4-week period as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:3 to 1:4 based on acuity
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State License required
• Scrub requirements: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system
• Block schedules available with manager approval dependent on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Weekend callouts require makeup shifts within 7-10 days
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Parking permit required: $20 registration fee for garage access

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
