Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements: at least 2 weekends in 8-week schedule and 1-2 nights during the week
• Week night call starts at 5:30 PM or 7:00 PM and goes until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call is 7:00 AM Saturday until 7:00 AM Monday morning (48 hours)
• Once trained in neuro, call will be split between cardiac and neuro procedures
• Required certifications: ARRT, ACLS, BLS
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Handle diagnostic right and left heart catheterization procedures
• Perform interventional catheterization, rotablator procedures, and IABP placement
• Manage closure devices and interpret/manage dysrhythmias
• Circulate and scrub procedures with sterile equipment setup
• Work with middle adult to geriatric patient population
• Utilize computerized documentation systems
• Daily census ranges from 15-30 patients
• Work in 5-room catheterization laboratory
• Handle special procedures including LHC/RHC/Peripheral interventions and Impella/IABP procedures
• Perform neuro interventional procedures including carotid angiograms with stent placement and stroke interventions
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to qualify for traveler rates
