Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with on-call responsibilities
• Weekend coverage includes working 3x12 hour shifts either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• Primary call on one weekend night, then flip to secondary the next night
• On-call required with 30 minute response time
• Must have scrub experience and neuro IR experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience accepted if candidate has neuro and scrub experience, otherwise 2 years minimum experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing
• Louisiana license or compact license required upon submittal
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients with 5 procedural rooms
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be part of "Emergency Team" during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility until event passes
• Strict no call-in policy enforced
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
Facility:
This major medical center features a comprehensive interventional radiology department with 5 procedural rooms and a 700-bed capacity. The facility operates with advanced imaging equipment including Siemens single and biplane systems, GE biplane equipment, ultrasound machines, and a GE procedural CT scanner. The department provides specialized care for complex cases including HCC, oncology, ALS, GI, sepsis, and neurology patients, supported by interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
