Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• On-call required with 30-minute response time
• Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (or vice versa)
• Rotating weekends required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (1 year accepted with neuro and scrub experience)
• Neuro IR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Work with patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and fluoroscopy
• Work in 5-room department with daily census of 30 patients
• May be assigned to "Emergency Team" during emergency events with expectation to remain at facility
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing contract
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• No call-ins permitted

This major academic medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 700 beds, providing advanced interventional radiology services with state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens single and biplane systems, GE biplane, ultrasound equipment, procedural CT scanner, and specialized ablation machines. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services, treating complex cases including oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, and sepsis patients.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
