Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Circulating position in cardiovascular operating room (scrubbing NOT required)
• Available shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for 3 twelve-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4 twelve-hour shifts
• Call requirement: approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Float required to other OR specialties within the hospital system
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must have Indiana license, compact state license, or Indiana temporary license prior to start date
• Charge pay opportunity available with $3.00 per hour increase
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Handle complex cardiovascular procedures including heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Use Cerner charting system
• Free parking provided
• Flu vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only
