Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3 or 4 x 12-hour shifts with day shift hours 0630-1900 and evening hours 1100-2330
• Majority of shifts are day shifts with up to two weeks of evening shifts possible during six-week schedule
• On-call requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule
• Weekend and holiday requirement: 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday per 6-week schedule
• Float requirement: Can float to general surgery when no cardiac cases available
• Must have 2 years of experience with knowledge of aseptic technique, case cart, and scrubbing
• Experience required with cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Crash cart and XI Robotics experience preferred
• Surgical experience preferred in multiple specialties including General, Ortho, Urology, Thoracic, Neuro, Transplant, and others
• Work with patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle daily census of 40 patients across 21 rooms
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required
