Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements include at least 2 weekends in 8-week schedule and 1-2 nights during the week
• Weeknight call starts at 5:30 PM or 7:00 PM depending on staffing and goes until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call runs from 7:00 AM Saturday until 7:00 AM Monday morning (48 hours)
• Once trained in neuro, call will be split between cardiac and neuro procedures
• Required certifications: ARRT, ACLS, BLS
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Minimum of 2 references required
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Perform diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations and interventional procedures
• Operate Rotablator and IABP equipment
• Use closure devices and manage interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Circulate and scrub procedures with sterile setup
• Work with middle adult to geriatric patient population
• Handle daily caseload of 15-30 patients in 5-room department
• Perform various procedures including LHC/RHC/Peripheral/Interventions/Impella/IABP/Arthrectomy
• Experience with neuro interventional procedures including carotid angiograms and stroke interventions
• Work with specialized equipment including Siemens systems

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
