Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating required to other units when needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must accept 1:7 ratios when floated to medical-surgical units
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIHSS
• Must use Epic charting system
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work in 10-bed progressive care unit
• Skills include procedural sedation monitoring, titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips, managing chest tubes, tracheostomy care, telemetry monitoring, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, central line management, wound care, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
