Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3+ years of RN ICU experience required
• 6 months travel experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 2:1 required
• Epic charting system experience required
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Every other weekend coverage required and additional weekends as needed
• On-call availability as needed
• May float to other units within scope of practice
• May float to Ashby or Herrick Campus depending on need and census
• Shuttle provided when floating is required
• 1.5 hours notice typically given prior to shift start for floating assignments
• Care for adults with daily census of 16-20 patients
• 24-bed unit capacity
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CA RN License (all AHA certifications required)
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50-mile travel requirement
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Only one holiday time off will be approved per contract

Facility:

This comprehensive medical center operates a 24-bed intensive care unit providing advanced critical care services including open heart surgery, ECMO support, and specialized procedures such as TAVR. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including NXT STAGE CRRT, EKOS, ventilators, IABP, and Impella devices. The ICU provides care for complex medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, STEMI, heart failure, stroke, and various surgical cases, with full interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
