Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3+ years of RN ICU experience required
• 6 months travel experience required
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CA RN License (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Weekend requirements: EOW and as needed based on unit needs
• On-call availability as needed
• Patient ratio experience of 2:1 required
• May float to other units within scope of practice or to Ashby/Herrick Campus
• 1.5 hours notice provided for floating assignments with shuttle service available
• Care for adult patients with daily census of 16-20 in 24-bed unit
• Manage patients with complex conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, STEMI, heart failure, stroke, and post-surgical cases
• Work with specialized equipment including NXT STAGE CRRT, EKOS, ventilators, IABP, and Impella
• Perform procedures including ECMO care, central line management, ventilator management, and cardiac monitoring
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Must live 50+ miles from facility to qualify for travel rates
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed with only one holiday approval
• Complete e-learning modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
