Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 5 eight-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with no weekends or holidays
• 13-week assignment in the Outpatient Pavilion
• Must be proficient in all OR specialties, particularly orthopedic, breast/plastics, urology, gynecology, and general surgery
• Handle surgical cases including general, gynecology, breast/plastics, urology, orthopedic, podiatry, and eye surgeries
• Work in a 6-room surgical unit with average daily census of 35 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• May float to main OR as needed
• Late stay sign-up required for call coverage
• 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and Virginia license
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CNOR
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
• Must have Virginia license active and in hand at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• Smoke/nicotine free facility
