Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, will accept first-time travelers
• Must have neuro experience and scrub experience
• Must be within a 45-minute radius for call back
• Call required for weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Weekday call is backup coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage is 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday (can be primary or backup)
• Holiday coverage is 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM when needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Work in 3-room interventional radiology department
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT VI, Fluoro Permit
• Maryland state license or compact license required
• Perform angiographic/interventional procedures including cardiac ablation, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and various vascular interventions
• Must have experience with nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke, and NIR procedures
• May float within facility and to affiliate hospital nearby
• Work with specialized equipment including Siemens, Phillips, Toshiba, and GE systems
• Complete virtual modules on first day (8 hours for new starts)
• Maximum assignment length of 365 days with required 6-month separation period

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
