Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Weekend rotation schedule to be discussed during interview
• Call required - typically one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed and to Main OR
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have skills in scrubbing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• Experience with CABG, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE procedures, valve replacements, TAVR
• Knowledge of thoracotomy, VATS, aortic aneurysm repairs, and carotid procedures required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Holiday work requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
