Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedules with self-scheduling system
• Patient ratios range from 1:4-6 based on acuity levels
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of RTO restrictions
• Floating required as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• One pre-approved time off period allowed
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be in hand prior to start)
• Indiana state license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with solid neuro experience preferred
• Dress code: red scrub top with black bottoms
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Care for mixed acuity medical patients and progressive care unit level patients
• Handle oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary cases
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin drips
• Care for unstable stroke patients and manage BiPAP equipment
• Experience required with post heart catheterization and post pacemaker care
• Adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 29-31 patients
• Local Indiana residents not accepted for this position
• Must have travel experience and be away from facility for required break periods
