Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:15 AM to 6:45 PM
• On-call requirement as part of the position
• Weekend coverage required based on departmental needs
• 3 years minimum experience required in surgical technology
• First-time travelers not accepted - travel experience required
• Must be proficient in all aspects of cardiovascular and vascular cases
• Required experience working in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Must have proficiency in general surgery, kidney transplant, and robotics when CVOR is slow
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Must work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must be available for "Emergency Team" assignments during facility emergencies
• Must be over 65 miles from facility address (no local travelers accepted)
• Louisiana license or compact license required upon submission
• AHA certifications required
• Two manager/supervisor references required for clearance to start
• Must complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation hours

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
