Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts
• Float to ICU and ED for helping hands approach when needed
• May assist with patient sitting duties
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in fast-paced ER environment
• Strong pediatric population presence - pediatric experience highly preferred
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC, BLS
• Skills needed: general emergency department combined adult/pediatric, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage
• Handle all chief complaints ranging from minor cuts to complex emergencies including trauma, neurological emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, and sepsis
• Perform special procedures including conscious sedation, trauma alert activation, stroke alert, and cath lab activation
• Work with specialized equipment including point of care ultrasound, EPOC, Belmont, Ranger, and teleneurology
• 36-hour orientation period with 1 week class/clinical time
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Valid New Hampshire state license required
• References required for submission
