Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment with Tuesday orientation and 36 orientation hours
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Missouri RN license or compact state license required
• Cerner charting system experience required - no exceptions
• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (CPI required starting January 2026)
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 42-bed emergency department with varied daily census
• Handle diverse patient diagnoses and emergency procedures
• Skills include trauma care, arterial line management, ICP monitoring, ventilated patient care, triage, and emergency medications
• May float to competent units within facility as needed
• Complete pre-start HealthStream modules (4 hours for ED) with strict deadline requirements
• No block scheduling available
