Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment
• Patient ratios: Days 1:2, Nights 1:1
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Must be willing to float to Critical Care Units (ICU, STICU & PCU), MS TELE Units, and Cardiac Monitoring Room based on skill set and census
• Fresh open-heart experience is required
• Must be familiar with all hemodynamic monitoring skills, ideally IABP and Impella experience
• Prismaflex CRRT experience is a plus
• Care for cardiac and cardio-thoracic patients directly from OR
• Take fresh open heart patients directly from OR or the shift directly after
• Work with adults and geriatrics patient population
• Daily census of 11 patients in 11-bed unit
• Use Cerner charting system
• RNs can wear any scrub color
• Free parking provided
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: Active unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid compact license, BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Must be comfortable with medication administration using BCMA standards

The facility features a specialized 11-bed CVICU unit that provides comprehensive cardiac and cardio-thoracic care, receiving patients directly from the operating room.
