Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend rotation included
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must have flexibility to float mid-shift if needed and may float to all CPMC campuses when census requires
• 2 years stepdown experience required
• 30 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS certification
• California RN licensure required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be accountable for assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care
• Provide patient/family education and transitions of care in acute patient setting
• Deliver holistic and individualized care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory insufficiency, sepsis, stroke, neuro conditions, and seizures
• Work with special equipment including BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and trach-vent
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, blood product administration, wound care, and tracheostomy care

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
