Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work rotating shift times starting at 0630, 0800, 0900, 1100 through 2300
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule required
• Holiday coverage as needed (discussed in advance)
• On-call required as needed with 40-minute turnaround time from call to clock-in
• 2 years of experience required (will consider 1 year if from Level 1 trauma facility)
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have scrub and circulating experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Will float within service line to meet facility needs
• Handle cardiac and thoracic cases primarily
• Perform vascular procedures (open and endovascular), transplant surgeries (liver, kidney, pancreas), Whipples, and other complex procedures
• Work with adult patient population in 16-room unit
• Must have heart and lung transplant experience for night shift
• Use EPIC charting system
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into CensiTrac system
• Scrub navy uniform required
• Every other weekend required per facility policy
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
