Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients required
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 38-bed unit with daily census of 35 patients
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• Self-scheduling format
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred but not required)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, post-cardiac procedures, IV management, wound care, and respiratory support
• Experience with feeding tube care, surgical drains, blood product administration, and central line management required
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Modules average 6-8 hours and are completed during orientation
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
