Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Manager will accept 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (approximately 4 hours)
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with variety of medical-surgical diagnoses
• 28 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• After 2 call outs without documented medical reason, contract may be cancelled
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November)

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds with a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The medical-surgical telemetry unit has 41 rooms and beds, providing quality care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical-surgical conditions.
