Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 - 17:30
• 13-week assignment duration
• 2-3 call shifts per week with 1-2 call weekends in a 6-week period
• Must be within 30 miles/30 minutes to campus for call
• Daily caseload of 25-30 cases across 4 labs
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7am-5:30pm
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must have experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota
• Required skills: Scrub, Monitor, EKG
• Cardiac procedures: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion
• EKG requirements: Obtaining vitals, Outpatient, 12 Leads EKG, Rhythm Interpretation
• Electrophysiology experience: Cardioversion
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have either RCIS or ARRT certification (if ARRT, must have state license)
• Preferred skills: Circulate, IV Start, Phlebotomy, Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure
• EPIC experience preferred with mandatory EPIC training classes
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• Must attend orientation modules (up to 7 hours, non-billable)
• Virginia license must be active and in hand at time of submission

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with 4 modern labs operating Monday through Friday. The department performs a wide array of advanced cardiac procedures including coronary angiograms, PCIs, CTOs, peripheral interventions, electrophysiology studies with ablations, pacemaker insertions, TAVRs, Mitraclips, and Watchman/Amulet procedures. The facility maintains high procedural volumes and offers advanced cardiac care services with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
