Opportunity:

Perfusionist - Perfusionist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM
• First case typically starts at 7:15 AM unless urgent/emergent case
• Call required with response within 15 minutes, alternating call with chief
• Weekend call every other weekend and overnight call rotates weekly
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Must have 10 years of experience (will consider 5-10 years)
• CVOR, General OR, and Trauma Level 1 experience required
• ECMO and independent ECMO cannulation experience is a hard stop requirement
• Cell saver experience is a hard stop requirement
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle approximately 400 heart procedures per year
• Participate in growing aortic arch repair and advanced aortic arch grafting procedures (types A and B)
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy
