Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts coverage schedule
• Call shifts Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 AM with average of 10 call days per month
• Weekend on-call shifts that vary based on staff availability
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 5 rooms and 8 beds in unit with daily census of approximately 10 patients
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Must be able to circulate procedures and perform hemodynamic recording/charting
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Required certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be comfortable working some holidays
• Expected to perform various cardiac procedures including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, electrophysiology procedures, and vascular interventions
• Must be skilled in procedural sedation administration/monitoring, IV management, and various cardiac medications
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
