Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work alternating Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• On-call required Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend on-call coverage required every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM - 24 hours each)
• Handle 12-18 cases per day across 3 newly renovated labs
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during procedures
• Work with high volume, high acuity cardiac catheterization cases including STEMI calls
• Float within scope to medical assignments and ED for medical holds as needed
• Perform procedures including TAVRS, Watchman, carotids, Impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS
• Use Philips equipment, Medrad and manifold for injections, XPER and EPIC documentation
• Required certifications: VA or compact license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year cardiac or critical care experience required
• Experience in cardiac cath and/or IR preferred
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of assignment
• First-time travelers accepted

The facility operates a high-volume, high-acuity program that handles STEMI calls and complex cardiac procedures. The organization maintains a 400-bed capacity and provides comprehensive cardiac services with a team-oriented approach, supported by interdisciplinary services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
