Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• May be asked to float to other campus locations - must be flexible
• After hours and weekends call rotation required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 50-60 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• Must have ARRT Registration in Radiation Therapy
• Texas Medical Board - MRT required
• CPR - BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• 2 years experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Must complete orientation modules (6-8 hours, non-billable)
• Work with special procedures including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, 3D, 2D, HDR, and simulation
• Operate specialized equipment including Varian Edge, Varian Truebeam, Varian Gamma MedPlus iX, Varian Aria, Varian Eclipse, and GE CT 590 RT
• Treat various patient diagnoses including brain, head and neck, breast, lung, esophageal, gynecological, prostate, bladder, rectum, anal canal, abdominal, bone mets, skin, liver, adrenal, and biliary conditions
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
