Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included
• Call shifts: 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call required every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours in one workweek for 8 and 10 hour shifts
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Required certifications: ARRT(R), BLS
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric
• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, position patients correctly
• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed
• Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams required
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition doesn't permit routine positioning
• Experience with various interventional procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular access
• Proficiency with GE Innova IGS, Siemens equipment, and ultrasound
• Floating to affiliate hospitals required
• 18 months experience required, first-timers accepted
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Block schedule accommodations available for discussion

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
