Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in comprehensive liver care ICU specializing in transplant hepatology and postoperative liver transplant care
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 36-hour orientation required
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or equivalent
• Float within scope if needed
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required, transplant experience highly preferred
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting experience required
• Virginia or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Must complete specialty-specific modules during orientation week
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with liver transplant and hepatology conditions
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT (Nx Stage)
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, and various ICU procedures
• Administer chemotherapy, manage continuous IV sedation and vasoactive drips
