Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with rotating shift start times from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Required to work 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule period
• On-call response required within 40 minutes from call to clock-in
• Must have 2 years of experience (1 year acceptable if Level 1 trauma facility experience)
• Scrub and circulate experience required for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Handle cardiac and thoracic cases primarily, including vascular procedures, transplants, and Whipple procedures
• Float within service line as needed to meet facility requirements
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• BSN preferred
• Work with 16-room cardiovascular operating suite
• Treat adult patients in high-acuity emergency and urgent cases
• Use EPIC charting system
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into CensiTrac system
• Heart and lung transplant experience needed for night shift positions
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per 13-week contract
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
• Wear navy scrubs
