Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work as a MS Float pool RN covering medical surgical floors
• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Float between med surg floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River tower
• Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assignment (typically 1:6)
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
• Charting system: EPIC
• Skills required: Starting and maintaining IVs, Med/Surg care, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE
• Care for adult patients
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodation available with manager approval
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
