Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour weekend night shifts Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), SCRQSA, ARRT R, BLS, State License
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• No on-call requirements
• Perform CT scans including perfusion and CTA procedures
• Handle adult acute care, emergency department, and Level I trauma cases
• Work with contrast media preparation and administration
• Start peripheral IVs and perform aspirations and biopsies
• Operate PACS system for imaging studies
• Work in emergency room CT with 2 CT suites
• Handle 12-16 patients per 10-12 hour shift
• Guaranteed hours based on contracted schedule
• All requested time off must be included on initial submission
• Attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in cancellation
• Must pass cardiac dysrhythmia test on first day of orientation
• Compliance documents due 5 business days prior to start date

This healthcare organization operates as a Level I trauma center with comprehensive emergency services and advanced imaging capabilities. The facility features multiple CT suites performing all types of CT examinations including complex procedures like brain perfusion and virtual colonography. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with a daily census of approximately 125 patients and utilizes Epic electronic health record system for documentation and care coordination.
