Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating required when census warrants
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
• NY license required in hand to submit
• Minimal RTO required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy and white
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Handle 145 visits per day with 64 daily census in 34-room emergency department
• Required skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, emergency medications, procedural sedation, CVA care, and isolation precautions
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
