Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• Must be willing to float to all competent units within facility
• 13-week assignment duration
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Must have 18+ months of true telemetry experience with cardiac experience
• Experience required with titrating drips, pre/post cardiac catheterization patients, and sheath management
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Must have minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS; TNCC preferred
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher, including lethal rhythms
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Missouri RN license or compact license required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• CEU requirement: 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 451-bed facility
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Must complete pre-start HealthStream modules (4 hours for telemetry)
• No block scheduling permitted and time off requests after submission will not be approved
