Description
Opportunity:
RN - IR
Job Details:
• Provide compassionate patient care for all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle 10-16 cases per day in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Perform starting and maintaining IVs, accessing ports, administering medications, and moderate sedation
• Assist with managing vasoactive drips and ventilators on high acuity ICU patients
• Support anesthesia with induction and intubation/extubation for both adults and pediatrics
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of procedure and patient information using Epic charting system
• Demonstrate and abide by radiation safety regulations
• Assist multidisciplinary team to prepare and turn over rooms efficiently
• Minimal call requirements with weekend and weeknight on-call as needed
• No weekend requirement with weekend coverage only with call
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must have 2 years of experience minimum
• IR or other procedural nursing experience preferred, ICU or ED experience will be considered
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
