Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with 4x10 or 5x8 shift options
• One weekday call per week and one weekend call every 2 months
• Scheduling details can be discussed during interview
• On-call staff have access to closer parking spots
• 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Float required to OR suites
• Call requirements depend on individual skill level
• Work with patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Work in 8 rooms plus 2 OR suites
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Cert, VA license
• Required skills: Dialysis fistulas, Contrast, Biopsies, Ablations, Peripherals
• Perform procedures including biliary, nephrostomy, cystostomy tube insertions & maintenance, central venous access & ports, vascular interventions, IVC filters, stent grafts, and various oncology procedures
• Work in Level 1 trauma center with high patient acuity due to tertiary status
• Must be at least 50 miles from facility location
• VA license required but can start with temp authorization
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

The facility features an 8-room interventional radiology department with 2 additional OR suites, equipped with advanced imaging technology including Siemens equipment and PACS systems. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers comprehensive interventional procedures ranging from routine vascular access to complex oncology interventions and emergency trauma responses.
