Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Provide direct care to surgical patients with primary emphasis on immediate postoperative period
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Use nursing process, medical therapeutics, and technological interventions for patient care
• Skills include dysrhythmia recognition/management, narcotics/opioid analgesics, reversal agents, conscious sedation, and pain assessment & management
• Work with various surgical specialties including cardiac, ENT, general, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, and urology
• Handle ambulatory/outpatient, inpatient, and pre-post operative care
• Work with general, local, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) patients
• Required certifications: California RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours during orientation
• Access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
