Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts (FIRM schedule)
• Call required after 2:30 PM, weekends and holidays
• Weekend coverage required with number of shifts varying based on staffing needs
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Average caseload of 10-15 patients per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 5 rooms and 8 beds available in unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must be comfortable with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Skills include CVOR, Hybrid OR, CABG, vascular procedures, and thoracic surgeries
• 7-10 days of RTO can typically be accommodated if time is made up at end of contract
• Expect to work some holidays
• On-site drug screening required
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
