Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three shifts per week (3x12 schedule)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ENCP
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• General emergency department adult/pediatric experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required for first-time travelers
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, ventilated patient care, triage, IV management, emergency medications, procedural sedation, and isolation precautions
• Daily census of approximately 90 patients with 39 rooms and 39 beds
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, transportation, and unit secretary
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required
