Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week schedule
• 13-week assignment with weekend coverage required
• Must have minimum 1 year of pediatric CICU experience as a traveler (first-time travelers not accepted)
• CICU/CVPICU experience must be clearly documented in work history
• Patient ratio of 1:2 for nights, days, and weekends
• Float as needed to cardiac med surg floor to assist with those patients
• May float between main facility and sister hospital in Overland Park, KS (approximately 12 miles southwest)
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, CCRN, ACLS (only AHA certifications accepted, RQI not accepted)
• Must have both Missouri/compact license and Kansas license
• Pass/fail medication/dosage test given first week requiring 100% to pass (3 attempts allowed)
• Work with patient diagnoses including congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, myo/endocarditis
• Utilize special equipment including advanced monitoring lines, atriamp, art/cvp, PA, umbilical lines
• Work with 24-bed unit providing CRRT, ECMO, VADs
• Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Any kid-friendly color or pattern scrubs acceptable
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking with permit available

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
