Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular & Interventional Radiology
• 9-10 call shifts per 6-week schedule including weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 1 year minimum experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period
• 8 orientation hours provided
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 16 patients across 3 rooms
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures including embolization, stent placement, and vascular interventions
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and assist with cardiac device insertions
• Maintain sterile technique and circulate rooms as needed
• Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and use rapid response protocols
• Maximum 7 RTO days allowed
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
