Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Must have neuro interventional experience working in a neuro interventional procedure unit
• Work with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Perform procedures including thrombectomies, embolizations, stenting, EVD and SEPS drain insertions, vasospasm treatments, and diagnostic angiograms
• Must be familiar with PHILIPS biplane equipment
• Must be independent in scrubbing procedures with physician
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Call requirements: 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Weekend call: 24 hours (Saturday and Sunday)
• Weekday call: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Call team consists of 1 RN and 1 RT with Neurosurgeon
• Holiday work required based on assignment period - if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, must work all holidays; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, must work 2 of them
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, NIHSS
• Skills required include interventional radiology procedures, cardiac stent placement, angioplasty, embolization, central venous access, PICC line care, arterial line management, and neuro-interventional experience
• Must maintain sterile field and equipment setup
• Clinical screen required to determine clinical fit
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
