Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work days, evenings, nights, and weekends as scheduled
• Coordinate and produce quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assist in CT guided procedures
• Perform CT examinations for various patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Exercise critical thinking skills and demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology
• Perform venipuncture and safe medication administration specific to contrast media
• Operate sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment safely
• Document care accurately in electronic health record (EHR)
• Work with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) for image transmission and storage
• Assess patients prior to studies to ensure safety and cooperation
• Provide patient education and answer questions before CT examinations
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, CRT, IV Certification, BLS (AHA)
• Must obtain Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• 50 miles travel requirement with locals accepted at local rate
