RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Weekend rotation schedule to be discussed during interview
• Call required - typically one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed and to Main OR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include scrubbing cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, CVOR procedures, CABG, IABP, VAD procedures, MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, thoracotomy, VATS, aortic aneurysm repair, and various vascular procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Holiday work requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two out of three if three fall during assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
