Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Position floats between pre-op and PACU with primary focus on PACU responsibilities
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call requirements
• Start times vary with earliest at 6:00 AM and latest shift ending at 7:30 PM
• 2:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Daily census of 30-40 patients
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, ENT, neuro, total joints, urology, and general surgery cases
• Work in two-floor facility: 2nd floor has 10 bays/5 ORs, 5th floor has 8 bays/2 ORs
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience and 1 year specialty experience required
• Travel experience required
• Ambulatory experience highly preferred
• Must provide 7-year work history verification
• CA licensure must be in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS must be obtained prior to start date

The facility operates on two floors with modern equipment and maintains interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and interpretation services. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
