Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required in service line
• Travel experience preferred
• Patient ratios of 5-6 patients
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 38-bed unit with daily census of 35 patients
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have active nursing license in hand for submittal
• Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, wound care, IV management, and various clinical procedures
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must live at least 150 miles from facility to be considered
• Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours completed during orientation
