Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend and as needed based on unit requirements
• On-call as needed
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Must have 3+ years of RN ICU experience with extensive neuro patient care
• Must be comfortable and proficient with neurological cases
• Travel nursing experience for more than one year required
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• May float to other units within scope of practice and to Summit or Herrick Campus
• Shuttle provided for floating assignments with 1.5 hours notice prior to shift
• Must be flexible with floating to different campuses or within hospital
• Extensive skills required including neuro intensive care, surgical intensive care, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, IV medication administration, and various monitoring systems
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 30-bed ICU unit with daily census of 12
• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50 miles travel requirement from facility
• 7-year work history verification required
• Non-billable modules completed during orientation averaging 1-5 hours
