RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 11-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• Patient ratios of 1:2
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to like units as needed, with agency staff floating first
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• First-time travelers not accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Travel experience required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Free parking provided
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Care for post open heart patients and other cardiac/neuro intensive care patients
• 60-mile local radius restriction - locals not accepted
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start

This acute care facility features 276 total staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiovascular and neurological intensive care services. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and phlebotomy. The organization prioritizes high-quality patient care with specialized equipment and protocols for cardiac surgery patients and complex medical conditions requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
