Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 11-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, agency floats first
• Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
• 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Local travelers within 60 miles not accepted
• Must complete Epic charting system
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
• Free parking provided
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 4 hours (non-billable)
• Must be aware of potential hurricane season emergency response assignments from June through November
Facility:
This acute care facility features 276 total staffed beds and operates a comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care unit specializing in post-operative cardiac patients. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and phlebotomy. The CVICU is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring technology including IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors to support complex cardiac care patients.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
